Long Eaton United Ladies coach extends stay.

Poole the UEFA B licensed football coach who joined Long Eaton from Leicester City women in February has agreed to stay on at the Blues for another season.

Poole spoke out and said: ” The facilities and the structure of the club is above and beyond anything else at this level. The club has the ambition to go forward”

Jake worked with Leicester Women’s first team as one of the coaches and was a member of the club for two years.

When asked why he wanted to stay on Jake spoke highly of the plans made by manager John Bennett.

” The plans we started to build at the back end of this season were starting to take shape, the club has got everything in place and i feel i can contribute to that on the pitch.”

Manager John Bennett was ecstatic by the confirmation that Jake would be staying on and said:

” I’m delighted Jake is staying with us, he’s and unbelievable asset to the club and overall i’m delighted he’s staying.”

Poole has a great relationship with staff and the players at the club and has vowed to give his all for the next season and take Long Eaton to the next level.

” I’ve really enjoyed working with the players, their attitudes and work rates are on another level its just a shame the season had to end early.”

Long Eaton announced the new staff addition of coach Chris Sanders from Derby County who formally worked with Bennett during their time at Derby together.

The club are expected to have a busy few weeks ahead with multiple backroom staff additions being made and also player arrivals aswell as departures,

United are eager to ensure promotion and the addition of the highly licensed staff could make their dream soon come to reality.
